2 Oscars and a Golden Globe can't be wrong. This movie is, quite frankly, SPECTACULAR! If you start feeling too good about the sheer majestly possible in filmmaking during this movie, you can follow it up with Bugsy Malone and come back down to earth. Or continue the high with Casino. - Harvey Keitel, who appeared as Mickey Cohen in Bugsy, played Bugsy Siegel in The Virginia Hill Story. Dyan Cannon played Virginia. This was 14 years before her appearance in Caddyshack II.
- Two other 1991 films featured Bugsy Siegel: The Marrying Man with Armand Assante as Bugsy, and Mobsters with Richard Grieco as Bugsy.
