Do you like listening to foreign accents? If not, don't bother with this book. Though Barbara Rosenblat does a superb vocal rendition, the heavy British and Egyptian accents do get a bit tiresome. Otherwise, a delight and something you can calmly listen to while your mind is engaged elsewhere: cooking, coding, doing calculus or brain surgery. ;-) I wouldn't exactly call it "riveting suspense, pulse-pounding action" as the book jacket promises, but you will wonder who dunit. Have 12 hours to spare? Commute? Need help getting your brain to shut off at bed time? This story will do the trick. Give it a listen. Posted: November 28, 2006 at 7:05 pm by H. Kutcher
