Stephen, Stephen. What happened? Were you trying to write a longer book than The Stand? Find a cure for insomnia? This book started out so well. It drew you in. You wondered what all the flashbacks were about. And that car accident and hip pain were all too biographical. But by the time we learn about the grays, we've lost interest.
